Job summary

Penn State Great Valley's ITS Help Desk is seeking part-time User Support Specialists who are resourceful, quick learners, and enjoy helping staff, faculty, students, and external clients. On-site at the Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA, you will support a range of tech needs, from account resets to AV setup, over phone, in person or via email.

Hours are 10-24 per week, Monday through Thursday (evenings preferred) and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about computer and AV technologies.
• Experience in PC and MAC environments is a plus.
• Ability to work 10-24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (evenings) and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions over the phone, in person, and via email.
• Provide classroom technology support and troubleshoot hardware/workstation issues.
• Assist with AV for conferencing events and support staff, faculty, students, and external clients.
• Learn and test new applications and AV systems under supervision.
