Job summary

Penn State Great Valley's Information Technology Support (ITS) Help Desk is seeking part-time User Support Specialists who are resourceful, problem solvers, fast learners, and enjoy helping staff, faculty, students, and external clients.

Work hours are 10-24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with some Saturdays on-site at the Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA. Questions about hours and schedules should be directed to the hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about working on and learning computer and AV technologies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in PC and MAC environments is a plus.
• Evening availability and on-site presence at Great Valley Campus.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions over the phone and assist walk-ins with all computer needs.
• Support AV for some conferencing events.
• Receive training and professional development from the IT team.
