Job summary

Penn State Great Valley is seeking part-time User Support Specialists to assist staff, faculty, students, and external clients from the ITS Help Desk. On-site at the Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA, Monday through Thursday (evenings) with some Saturdays, 10–24 hours weekly.

Training provided while you gain hands-on IT problem-solving experience. Ideal candidates have strong customer service and clear communication, with experience in PC and MAC environments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working in PC and MAC environments.
• Ability to work 10-24 hours per week, Mon-Thu (evenings) and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions over the phone and assist walk-ins at the Help Desk.
• Troubleshoot hardware and workstation problems and basic software issues.
• Support AV for conferencing events and classroom tech as needed.
