Job summary

Ace Retail Group in Woodland, CA is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to safeguard the store’s inventory integrity across receiving, counts, and replenishment. The role requires attention to discrepancies, use of store systems, and collaboration with management.

You will work roughly 20-30 hours per week, support cycle counts, and assist in periodic inventories with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POs are properly received from Ace and non-Ace vendors.
• Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received.
• Coordinate with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment.
• Research inventory discrepancies by scanning locations and determine root cause.
• Utilize Mango reports and daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow defective merchandise procedures to secure credits.
• Maintain on-hand integrity by reviewing discrepancies and researching causes.
• Adjust counts after proper investigation and documentation.
• Oversee store operations related to price changes, location codes, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate periodic full store inventories and support training for staff.
• Collaborate with Store Support Center to ensure proper inventory controls.
• Report and resolve inventory concerns with management.
