Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensuring items are received, counted, and stocked accurately.

You'll walk the store daily to scan DSD items, identify shortages or overages, and collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk. You will monitor donations, manage grocery and non-perishable inventories, and keep the backroom secure, clean, and organized.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail/grocery.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel.
• Monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.
• Maintain backroom cleanliness, security, and order.
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and store management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD operations and ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and accounting.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and spot stock issues.
• Partner with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk.
• Communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promos.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and organized backroom.
