Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee DSD operations, ensuring merchandise is accurately received, counted, and stocked. You’ll scan items, identify shortages or excess, and collaborate with vendors, night crew, and store leadership to maintain inventory integrity.

The role emphasizes monitoring donations, managing grocery and non-perishable inventories, and keeping the backroom clean, secure, and organized in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking and reconciling inventory in a retail environment.
• Basic computer skills including email and familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness, security, and order in the backroom and receiving areas.

Responsabilités

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received, counted, and stocked.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk.
• Communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories; keep backroom secure and organized.
