Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations.

You will ensure merchandise is received, tracked, scanned, and stocked, working with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk. Daily duties include identifying out-of-stock or overstock conditions, coordinating with the Store Director on inventory accuracy and promotions, and monitoring donations while maintaining a secure, clean

Formación

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail/grocery.
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and store portals.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.
• Maintain cleanliness, security, and order in backroom and receiving areas.
• Decision-making and problem-solving for inventory and delivery issues.
• Effective communication with vendors, delivery drivers, store management, and associates.
• Physical ability to lift 5–50 lbs, push/pull 10–50 lbs, and stand/walk long periods.
• Customer service orientation ensuring positive experience and store readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Oversight of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensuring accurate receiving and stocking.
• Walk the store to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk.
• Communicate regularly with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotions.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery/non-perishable inventories; maintain backroom security and cleanliness.
