Job summary

Federal Signal in University Park, IL is offering a part-time Internship as an Integration Technician. The student will pursue a bachelor’s degree in electronics or a related technical field and participate in Acceptance Testing, wiring AC/DC power, and loading firmware while supporting test procedures.

Responsibilities include configuring systems, loading firmware, IP address updates, and providing first-line internal support for field service and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Undergrad junior or senior pursuing a technical bachelor's degree.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to work locally; internship, part-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Acceptance Testing and understanding system drawings.
• Load firmware, configure systems, and modify IP addresses.
• Provide first-line internal support for field service and commissioning.
• Assist with training and demonstration of systems.
• Support development of system test procedures.
• Other duties as required.
