Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation is seeking an Electronic Production Technician in University Park, IL. The role involves building, inspecting, testing, repairing, and programming a variety of printed circuit boards to meet specifications.

You will work from schematics and work orders, develop troubleshooting skills, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment. A high school diploma and experience with light assembly are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with light mechanical and/or electrical assembly required.
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and sound judgment required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, test, repair, and program printed circuit boards.
• De-panel PCB assemblies and package boards for shipping.
• Follow schematics, work orders, and shop aids; troubleshoot issues.
• Use hand tools, multi-meters, oscilloscopes and programming tools.
• Maintain quality standards and safety in the work area.
