Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse Inpatient in Lake Forest, IL. You will provide nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process, collaborate with the health team, and document plans and outcomes.
The role requires a BSN, IL RN license, BLS, strong interpersonal and analytic skills, and ER-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC within one year) with Pediatric ER requirements.

- Current IL RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
- ER: ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within one year of hire
- Pediatric ER: PALS and TNCC within one year of hire
Mansioni
- Provide nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
- Interact with patients, families and health team members maintaining ANA standards.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and document progress toward outcomes.
- Direct care and coordinate with any assistants involved in patient care.
- Collaborate with patient, family, physicians and staff; document plans focused on outcomes.
- Participate in governance, committee work and unit projects.
- Evaluate responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Utilize evidence and research to guide practice decisions.
