Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops and implements an individualized plan, and coordinates care.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants appropriately in delivering direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff, documenting plans and communications.
• Participates in shared governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and adapts the plan of care based on findings.
• Uses evidence-based practice and current research to guide nursing decisions.
