Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a part-time Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, learn product details, and interact with customers to drive sales.

The role includes handling event equipment, maintaining presentation areas, and adhering to food safety guidelines in a retail environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and relevant food safety certifications if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use and navigate a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and execution of past events.
• Be the point person for all events in the store; assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team and help staff with event duties.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the products represented and effectively communicate features and benefits to consumers.
• Prepare foods using raw products and equipment while following food safety guidelines.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution and ensure clean, safe workstation.
