Job summary

CROSSMARK is seeking an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, learn product details, and professionally engage customers to drive sales. You will manage event equipment, coordinate with store management when the Supervisor is absent, and uphold a neat, safe work environment.

The role emphasizes presenting product benefits, handling samples safely, and documenting event success for clients. This is a part-time, retail-based position with possible travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient use of a computer and mobile device.
• Food Safety Professional Certification and local food handler permits if required.
• Ability to stand/walk and lift up to 25 pounds; handle kitchen tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment and supplies for events to keep backroom area clean and secure.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about events and their execution.
• Serve, demonstrate and engage consumers to sell products.
• Be the point of contact for all events in the store and assist other Event Specialists as needed.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances while following safety guidelines.
• Take photos of setup to document success stories for clients.
• Complete online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company objectives.
