Job summary

You will guide supervisors and staff on HR policies while maintaining confidentiality and professional service.

In this role you will coordinate job postings, review applications, process hires and terminations, maintain HR databases, and assist with reports and training;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or closely related field.
• Two or more years of increasingly responsible experience in human resources, personnel administration, benefits administration, recruitment, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a public agency, special district, local government, or similarly regulated organization desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for regular, part-time, seasonal, and temporary staff.
• Maintain HR databases and ensure accurate, confidential employee records.
• Process personnel actions including hires, transfers, promotions, leaves, and separations.
• Administer benefits enrollment and answer questions on health, retirement, and leave programs.
• Support employee relations, policy communication, and HR project participation.
• Provide professional, courteous service to employees and the public; maintain confidentiality.
