Lighthouse Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR needs for manufacturing operations in Portsmouth, NH. This onsite role focuses on payroll, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance to support hourly manufacturing staff and production supervisors.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of HR experience in manufacturing, proficiency with Paychex Flex, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on Paychex Flex experience including payroll processing and timekeeping.
• Experience supporting hourly manufacturing employees and production supervisors.
• Working knowledge of payroll administration, wage and hour laws, and HR compliance.
• Ability to manage HR responsibilities independently with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Run payroll processing, manage timekeeping, and maintain employee records using Paychex Flex.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and handle ongoing personnel administration.
• Support recruitment and hiring for manufacturing, skilled trades, and administrative roles.
• Assist management with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary activities.
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, workers’ compensation documentation, and HR compliance.
