Job summary

CenCore is seeking a part-time Junior HR Associate to support HR operations at our Payson, Utah headquarters. The role handles employee records, onboarding coordination, HR documentation, and routine inquiries while helping ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and policy alignment.

Reporting to the HR leader, you will contribute to internal HR needs tied to company programs in a fast-paced contractor environment and gain hands-on experience with HRIS tools and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR administration, onboarding, records management, or related support.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR administrative activities, employee documentation, onboarding coordination, and internal HR operations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, onboarding paperwork, and internal tracking files.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, new-hire documentation, employee enrollment support, and related HR follow-up.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries or route questions to the appropriate HR, recruiting, security, payroll, or management contact.
• Support compliance-driven HR processes by helping ensure documentation is complete, current, and handled confidentially.
• Prepare HR reports, trackers, forms, and internal updates as requested.
• Assist with process improvements, data cleanup, and administrative support for HR programs and internal operations.
