Job summary

Eden Housing, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in day-to-day operations of housing projects serving low-income families, seniors, and eligible residents.

The role covers maintaining facilities, processing applications, collecting rents, and ensuring compliance with HUD and RHCP programs. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance scheduling, handling tenant move-in/out, managing files, and promoting respectful relations with residents and partners.

Qualifications

• 6 months clerical/office experience or related training.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Experience with HUD or housing program rules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Orders office supplies and schedules maintenance work orders.
• Assists in resident move-in/out procedures and unit inspections.
• Maintains resident files and wait lists per EHMI policies.
• Collects rent, processes payments, and performs daily deposits as needed.
• Answers calls and handles office inquiries professionally.
• Prepares project status reports and maintains orderly files.
