Job summary

Sage Haus is seeking a House Manager/Family Assistant in San Clemente, CA for a part-time role (15 hours/week) with flexibility to increase. Compensation is $38–$45 per hour based on experience, start ASAP, with the schedule Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and flexible hours for the right candidate.

The role involves household organization, inventory and errands, meal planning, pet care, and vendor coordination, supporting a calm, well-run home environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain household organization systems.
• Daily resets and prep home for cleaners.
• Light tidying, dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas.
• Seasonal swaps, clothing, décor, bedding, etc.
• Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs.
• Event, holiday and guest prep.
• Packing and unpacking for travel.
• Change batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc.
• Occasional deep cleans, fridge, oven and baseboards.
• Refresh garage, entry and storage areas.
• Clean humidifiers and air purifiers.
• Organizational projects, including incoming work-related items and product organization.
• Restock pantry, fridge, household supplies.
• Manage or create running household supply lists.
• Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, etc.
• Mail and package handling, including unpacking, sorting, and organizing frequent deliveries.
• Breakdown boxes.
• Partner with the mom to prep healthy meals and snacks.
• Grocery shopping & putting groceries away.
• Follow dietary needs and preferences.
• Kitchen clean-up and maintenance.
• Wash, fold, organize family laundry.
• Ironing, steaming, and special garment care.
• Linen rotation
• Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas.
• Feed the household dog as needed.
• Vet and grooming scheduling.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Maintain pet supplies.
• Use extra care around open doors and entryways to help ensure the dog remains safely inside.
• Coordinate occasional vehicle cleaning and car detail service.
• Oversee cleaners, contractors, landscapers.
• Research and coordinate vendor repairs and quotes.
• Calendar management, including household schedules.
• Receipt and budget tracking.
