Sage Haus in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a part-time House Manager and Family Assistant. Core hours are Tuesdays through Fridays, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility for Mondays and occasional evenings. Compensation is $38–$45 per hour depending on experience, ASAP start.

Requires reliable transportation, ability to lift stairs, and a discreet, proactive demeanor. The role supports a busy family with kids (ages 4, 6, 10), pets, and multiple activities.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable personal transportation with clean driving record; mileage reimbursed.
• Up-to-date vaccinations per CDC/ACIP guidelines; with accommodations where required by law.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain before start.
• Ability to navigate a standard flight of stairs regularly in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• School pickups, sports transportation and kid-related errands.
• Light supervision and backup childcare as needed; occasional date-night coverage.
• Support with regular hosting preparation.
• Packing and unpacking kids for travel.
• Calendar management and coordination across school communications and appointments.
• Travel logistics support; assist with nearby family member errands ~5 hours/week.
• Daily resets; light tidying and preparation for weekly cleaners.
• Create and maintain household organization systems; wardrobe audits.
• Event, holiday, and guest prep; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Restock pantry and household supplies; manage subscriptions and returns.
• Prepare up to two simple meals per week; grocery shopping incl. curbside pickup.
• Laundry: wash, fold, and organize; maintain tidy laundry areas.
• Walk and tend to pets; yard duties as needed.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance and light organization of vehicles.
