Job summary

Sage Haus in Los Altos, CA is seeking a House Manager & Family Assistant for a part-time role (15-20 hours/week). Compensation is $45.00 per hour with a flexible schedule, including 2-3 days per week and core hours 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, plus occasional evenings, weekends, and overnights as needed.

You will organize households, support childcare, manage multiple properties, coordinate vendors, assist with travel logistics and meal/pet care for a busy family with two young boys and a standard poodle.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing households and multi-property management.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before start.
• Reliable transportation to serve Los Altos and surrounding areas.
• Comfortable working with dogs and pet care duties.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain organizational systems throughout the home.
• Coordinate daily routines, school commutes, and vendor handoffs.
• Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and repairs across multiple properties.
• Manage laundry, meal support, and grocery/errand tasks.
• Provide backup childcare for date nights and overnights.
• Travel planning and logistics support; may join family domestically or internationally.
