Job summary

Romasowatonna is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and storage of tableware, cookware, and service ware in a full-service hotel setting in Owatonna, MN. The role emphasizes sanitation, proper handling of dishes, and support for banquet operations.

The ideal candidate has English proficiency, at least two years in a similar role, and can work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays. Physical tasks include lifting up to 40 lbs solo and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
• Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail and speed and accuracy with the ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgement.
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dishwashing and storage areas and equipment to high sanitation standards.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to provide clean china, glassware, and silverware.
• Sort, wash, store all service ware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Assist in set up and breakdown of banquet areas as needed.
• Follow departmental policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory control of china, glassware, and utensils.
• Keep a professional and tidy appearance as required by hotel standards.
• Perform opening/closing side duties and uphold hotel core values.
