Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, Florida, seeks a Part-Time Accounting Coordinator to join our team. The role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger activities in a hospitality environment.

You will ensure vendor statements are reconciled monthly, assist with journal entries, deposits, petty cash, and audits, while maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support to the Controller.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of two years' accounts receivable and payable experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems.
• Well-developed administrative skills and ability to assist others.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices.
• Handle receipts and coding for the purchasing card.
• Ensure vendor statements are reconciled monthly.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Record monthly journal entries as requested.
• Prepare cash deposits and bank checks.
• Monitor petty cash and cash over/short.
• Perform monthly audits of all employee cash banks.
• Assist in inventory count.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Controller.
