Job summary

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, Florida, seeks a Part-Time Accounting Coordinator to support AP/AR, payroll, and month-end processes within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ accounts receivable and accounts payable experience.
• Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems.
• Strong administrative and multitasking abilities.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices.
• Handle receipts and coding for the purchasing card.
• Ensure vendor statements are reconciled monthly.
• Assist with weekly and periodic check runs by matching invoices with checks.
• Assist with processing payroll
• Record monthly journal entries as requested.
• Verify daily cash drops
• Prepare cash deposits and checks into the bank.
• Monitor and process petty cash and cash over and short.
• Shipping of retail items
• Audit the safe monthly
• Assist in inventory count
• Perform monthly audits of all employee cash banks.
• Upkeep and storage of accounting documents.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Controller.
