Job summary

New Jersey Tutoring Corps, Inc. is seeking a part-time iLearn tutor for the Hudson-Kearny district to support K–8 students in ELA and Math. You’ll work in small groups (1–4 students) in partnership with LEAs, following the school calendar and maintaining data-driven instruction.

The role requires at least 60 college credits, tutoring or teaching experience, and familiarity with Google Suite and Gmail. If available, bilingual skills are a plus; transportation to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 60 college credits.
• Tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for Math & ELA; optional but a plus.
• MUST have a Gmail address or be willing to create one; experience with Google Suite apps (Docs, Sheets, Forms).

Responsibilities

• Engage K–8 scholars in math and literacy, 4–6 hours per day.
• Complete daily records including attendance and progress.
• Prepare lessons digitally using data to drive instruction.
• Communicate regularly with site leaders for optimal learning experiences.
• Participate in coaching and implement feedback for professional growth.
• Maintain professionalism and reliability in communications and training.
