New Jersey Tutoring Corps, Inc. in Clifton, NJ is seeking a part-time tutor to support K–8 learners in math and literacy at our Clifton sites. You will be embedded in school partnerships, conducting sessions four days a week with hours not to exceed 29 per week.

You’ll engage students, prepare digital lessons, track progress, and collaborate with site leaders, while following health guidelines and maintaining confidentiality of data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits.
• Tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of instructional frameworks is a plus.
• NJ Student Learning Standards knowledge is optional but a plus.
• Fingerprint background clearance required; eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Engage K–8 scholars in math and literacy in small groups.
• Complete daily records and attendance digitally.
• Prepare lessons digitally and use data to guide instruction.
• Communicate with site leaders to optimize learning experiences.
• Participate in coaching and implement feedback.
• Adhere to health department and school district requirements.
