New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc. seeks part-time tutors in Gloucester, NJ to deliver high-impact math and literacy tutoring to K-8 students at multiple partner sites. Tutors work 3 days a week, with a maximum of 12 hours weekly, and collaborate with LEAs to close learning gaps.

You’ll prepare digital lessons, track scholar progress, and maintain data confidentiality. Applicants should have 60 college credits and be willing to complete background checks and a Gmail-based workflow using Google Docs,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits.
• Tutoring or teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of instructional frameworks and NJ standards is a plus.
• Background check and legal work authorization required.
• Gmail and Google Suite proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Engage K-8 scholars in math and literacy in small groups.
• Prepare digital lessons and use data to drive instruction.
• Complete daily records and track scholar progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of program data and communicate with site leaders.
• Participate in coaching and implement feedback for growth.
