Job summary

Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. seeks a seasonal, part-time Receptionist for the HEAP program in Worcester, MA. You will greet clients, explain the HEAP application process, and collect information for staff while ensuring a friendly and efficient front-desk experience.

This role offers on-the-job training, a supportive team, and the chance to help households achieve energy stability during the winter season. Prior customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HiSET equivalent required.
• One to three years of customer service/ reception desk experience required.
• Excellent communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet HEAP clients and explain the application process.
• Retrieve information for HEAP staff on behalf of clients.
• Enter data and disseminate energy-related information.
• Assist with front-desk operations and scheduling as needed.
