Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a Part Time Operations Associate to join our team. This role supports unit operations, patient information processing, and documentation management to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication among staff.

Schedule is part-time, three 8-hour shifts MWF. Key duties include bed management coordination, use of OA Gold and CIS, and acting as a unit receptionist while supporting clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare customer service experience preferred.
• Prior administrative experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work rotating days, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; experience with electronic health records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bed management coordination and admissions/discharges tracking.
• Operate and interact with unit systems (OA Gold, CIS, etc.).
• Serve as unit receptionist and support clinical staff.
• Communicate clearly with nursing and ancillary departments to facilitate throughput.
