Job summary

Hampton Inn Marathon is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate to deliver warm, professional service to guests. You will check guests in and out, handle payments, and resolve requests with accuracy and courtesy. The role involves upselling, coordinating with hotel departments, and responding to guest needs promptly.

Prior front desk or customer service experience is preferred. Must be flexible for two nights per week, including Mondays and Tuesdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• TIPS or similar approved alcohol server training certification as required.
• 2+ years related employment or front desk experience preferred; customer service experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, efficient service.
• Register guests at check-in following brand standards and collect payment.
• Post transactions to guest and master accounts; review balances.
• Ensure accurate check-out and resolve issues promptly.
• Upsell opportunities to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
• Coordinate guest services with other departments and external partners.
• Process reservations and cancellations promptly; assist with extensions and late check-outs.
