Job summary

Lush Handmade Cosmetics is seeking a Floor Leader to support the Store Management Team in Schaumburg, IL. You will drive sales, lead a team of sales associates on the shop floor, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while upholding brand values and store standards.

You’ll coach, train, and motivate staff, manage cash handling and opening/closing duties, and contribute to a lively, ethical, and inclusive store culture that puts customers and colleagues first.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience.
• Cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervisory experience with coaching and training.
• Problem-solving in day-to-day operations.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Knowledge and passion for skincare and ethical business.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales on the shop floor and coach the sales team using performance data.
• Deliver a world-class customer experience through product demos and consultative selling.
• Educate customers on Lush brand values and ethical initiatives in-store and via events.
• Increase product knowledge and provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Train and coach Sales Ambassadors to improve performance and growth.
• Support DEIB initiatives and foster an inclusive team environment.
• Oversee cash handling, opening/closing, and deposit procedures.
• Lead attendance and shift planning to ensure smooth store operations.
• Maintain visuals and merchandising to enhance the shopper experience.
• Train team on inventory best practices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards.
