Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a Part-time Float Pharmacist to support multiple Central and Eastern MA locations, including Worcester, Milford, Marlborough, Framingham, Brockton, Quincy and New Bedford. The role focuses on dispensing medications, patient counseling, immunizations where allowed, and delivering a high level of customer service.

This schedule is 3 days/24 hours per week, with weekday hours 8:00am–5:30pm and alternating Saturdays in Worcester.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in Massachusetts (MA) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Certified immunizer or willingness to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the Massachusetts State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by the State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
