Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy services. You will dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and perform clerical duties while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in MA
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US Driver's license
• Ability to use your own car to travel to sites as needed
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
• Immunization Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
