Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join MinuteClinic as a floating provider across Fayetteville and surrounding areas. This role offers 30-40 hours per week with the expectation to work every other weekend, delivering evidence-based primary care in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, autonomy with clinical support, and flexible scheduling within a team committed to safety, quality and community health.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Family medicine or primary care experience preferred.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
• Holistic, evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling
• Order and administer immunizations (COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and vaccine counseling
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
• Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) may be required depending on market
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification including CPR and AED
• Pass a FIT test and wear respirator mask when required

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning.
• Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Manage patient appointments and routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients and coordinate with other clinicians for a comprehensive care plan.
• Encourage patient participation in health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
