Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a full-time Float Nurse Practitioner to cover a 50‑mile radius. The position is 30–38 hours per week, with every other weekend included, supporting a network of MinuteClinic sites.

You will provide primary and family care, manage appointments, perform exams, order vaccines, and participate in a collaborative care model. A Master’s in Family NP, plus national board certification and active APRN license are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Active state APRN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of acute and chronic conditions, health counseling, and disposition planning
• Complete administrative duties such as inventory management, opening/closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection
• Manage patient appointments and perform routine examinations supporting strong health outcomes
• Perform diagnostic testing, provide preventive counseling, treat injuries and illnesses, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Promote patient engagement through screenings, wellness services, and chronic disease management
