Job summary

CVS Health in Providence, RI is seeking a Part-Time Float Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality care across MinuteClinic locations. The position offers 20-29 hours weekly with 1-2 weekdays and every other weekend, including both in-person and virtual visits.

Qualifications

• One year NP experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
• Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• DOT certification within 30 days of employment.
• Active BLS certification and ability to pass a respirator FIT test.
• Physical presence at assigned clinic required.
• ARC-PA-accredited PA program graduate with NCCPA certification (if PA).

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide in-person and virtual visits from the clinic to support patient health outcomes.
• Perform diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, treatment of injuries and illnesses, and care coordination.
• Engage patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings.
• Complete clinic operations including inventory, opening/closing, follow-up, insurance verification, and payments.
• Support a safe and efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely patient management.
