Job summary

Peak Credit Union in Oregon is seeking a part-time Financial Solutions Guide to serve members in the Eugene area (and Albany) with professionalism and empathy. You will assist with transactions, promote credit union products, and build relationships through consultative conversations.

The role requires at least one year of customer service and cash handling experience, with opportunities for incentives and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience interacting with customers and handling cash, or an equivalent combination of work experience.
• Bonus points for bilingual consultative sales skills and building lasting financial relationships.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and engages members, managing branch traffic to ensure minimal wait times and a positive experience.
• Promotes credit union products and services to meet member needs with consultative sales and effective product positioning.
• Processes member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accurate records.
• Resolves inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, turning service moments into sales opportunities.
• Makes outbound calls to members to support outreach and relationship-building.
• Performs specialized financial functions and wire transfers while ensuring policy compliance.
• Balances cash drawer and assists with vault operations and cash orders under supervision.
• Records notes on member interactions and transactions to support follow-up and relationship growth.
• Demonstrates ongoing learning of systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Supports branch operations and staffing across locations to meet sales and growth objectives.
• All other duties as assigned.
