Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You will train new recruits, help meet sales targets, and participate in daily operations on the sales floor and back room. This role requires passion for our merch, strong communication, and a willingness to lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
• Step in and step up when needed to support the store leadership.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales with knowledge of products.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management.
• Help maintain stock room and store organization.
• Develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
