LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes as needed. The role focuses on delivering LifeWise curriculum, maintaining a safe classroom, and following program policies. Strong communication with the teacher and volunteers is essential.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records
• Keep classroom clean, attractive and well-ordered
• Know procedures for emergencies
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties
• Communicate with the teacher
