Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Assistant for Cottonwood Canyon Healthcare Center. You will help maintain grounds, facility, and equipment to meet safety standards and policies.

Duties include following schedules, reporting incidents, coordinating with nursing staff, and performing repairs and routine maintenance as directed by supervision. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and adherence to procedures, with no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, staff and visitors.
• Willingness to learn and adopt maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for shift areas.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor immediately.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services during routine tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities and equipment.
• Replace bulbs and service lights and exit signs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance work area.
