Job summary

Rehab Centre is seeking a part-time PT Maintenance Assistant for Cottonwood Canyon Healthcare Center to ensure grounds and facilities are safe and well-maintained. You will follow maintenance schedules, assist in routine tasks, and report issues to the supervisor.

The role requires basic technical skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on resident comfort and facility safety. weekend and shift coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and staff.
• Willingness to learn and apply new maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and facilities.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Carry out plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks as directed.
• Maintain safety procedures, report malfunctions and accidents to supervisor.
