Job summary

LensCrafters in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will ensure patients receive the highest quality Optometric care and help meet store performance goals by integrating the brand story with every patient interaction.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining tests and paperwork, guiding frame and lens selections, coaching patients on contact lens care, and supporting the Optometrist and Retail teams while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, retail and/or optical preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds and assists with needs.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant records and efficient filing.
• Operates POS system accurately and processes payments.
• Keeps store displays and product knowledge up to date.
• Supports the Optometrist and Doctor with clinical tasks as needed.
• Ensures store promotions are communicated clearly to staff.
