Legends Global is seeking an Usher at the Oakland Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, CA. The role is part-time, union, non-exempt, with an hourly rate starting at $21.54.

The Usher will greet guests, check tickets, direct seating, and assist with event-related services as directed by the Event Manager. Responsibilities include guiding guests to seats, answering questions, handling disputes, and maintaining safe, clear passageways throughout events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to read small text on tickets.

Responsibilities

• Check guests' tickets at entry and direct to seats.
• Direct guests to their seats and to services around the facility.
• Ensure only ticketed guests sit in assigned sections.
• Answer guest questions about event and facility.
• Handle complaints and forward to supervisor or Event Manager as applicable.
• Keep aisles, concourses, and stairs clear during events.
