Job summary

Sodexo Live! at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is hiring a part-time Dishwasher/Steward to support clean, safe back-of-house operations. You will assist sanitation, warewashing, and storage, contributing to high service standards for restaurants, banquets, and catering operations.

Roles vary by account and event needs; strong reliability, willingness to learn, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential. Location offers free parking and proximity to transit.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in stewarding, sanitation, or food service support preferred.
• Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Desire to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

• Support opening and closing sanitation procedures for food service areas.
• Assist with organization and proper storage of equipment, supplies, and service ware.
• Handle waste, recycling, and grease removal per procedures.
• Maintain floors, drains, and work surfaces to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; occasional heavier lifting may be required.
• Attend work on schedule and be punctual; flexible with shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned based on account needs.
