The National WWII Museum in New Orleans seeks an Executive Steward to oversee all kitchen sanitation, dishwashing, equipment transport and cleaning operations. You will lead stewarding staff, set schedules, ensure safety, and maintain cleanliness across the venue’s dining and catering spaces.

Responsibilities include managing dishwashers, inventory of chemicals and supplies, coordinating waste removal, supporting catering events, and training staff on safe chemical handling and PPE.

Formación

• 2+ years of stewarding leadership in a complex food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA-related rules.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee kitchen and foodservice sanitation, dishwashing, equipment transport and cleaning.
• Lead stewarding staff, schedule rotations, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, tools, and cleaning equipment; manage waste removal.
