Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated LifeWise teacher to bring Bible knowledge and engaging instruction to public school classrooms, serving both churched and unchurched students. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong communication and interpersonal skills who are caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the 'What We Believe' section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and prayer.
• Maintain attendance, health records, rosters and parent permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage emergencies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
