Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel with public school students using LifeWise curriculum. Candidates should be active church participants with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing training and certification within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes, keeping attendance records, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom, and building relationships with volunteers and staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; manage health and permission records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, engaging classroom and responsible for supplies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
