Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. This part-time role is ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field and offers on-site patient care across diagnostic imaging.

You will schedule and conduct exams, ensure patient safety, and contribute to team quality initiatives while mentoring students and supporting the clinical team.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols and perform exams.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Prepare for exams by patient identification, education, and transport.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area; manage supplies.
