Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking an Echo Tech to support our diagnostic cardiac/vascular imaging team. This role is ideal for recent Echocardiography program graduates or those new to the field, providing essential ultrasound exams under physician supervision.

You will prioritize exams, coordinate with staff and patients, document findings, mentor students, and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and safety.
• Document exam results and charge codes; maintain equipment and area.
• Mentor caregivers and students in technique and use of equipment.
