Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Echo Tech at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. The role supports ultrasound exams for cardiac/vascular care under physician guidance, with focus on training recent grads or newcomers to the field.

You will participate in a team-driven environment, ensuring patient safety, education, and timely, high-quality imaging while contributing to ongoing education and care improvements.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) from an accredited institution.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate technical competence for department procedures.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating them on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams and ensure timely, quality outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, area, and supplies; assist with repairs and restocking.
• Mentor staff and students on equipment use and techniques.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical education.
