Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician supervision. The role targets recent graduates or those new to the field, with on-site training at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado.

The position is part-time (30 hours, 10-hour days, 3/10s) with on-call shifts. You will support the clinical team, mentor others, document results, and participate in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff.
• Prepare for exams with patient identification and education.
• Perform ultrasound exams and ensure safety and quality outcomes.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment and techniques.
